Cleanroom wall panels are designed to meet the process requirements of cleanrooms. It is generally composed of three parts: surface material, core material and connecting material. The wall surface must meet the requirements of being smooth, dust-free and easy to clean, and the material must be wear-resistant and anti-static. The surface material refers to the surface decoration material seen from the inside of the cleanroom and isolated from the external environment. Commonly used ones include sandwich panel, aluminum alloy panel, stainless steel panel, etc. The core material refers to the infill between the surface materials. Commonly used ones include rock wool, polyurethane, glass magnesium, etc. The connection materials mainly include aluminum alloy profiles, screws, expansion tubes, expansion screws, bolts, etc.
The properties that cleanroom wall panels generally need to have include anti-static, corrosion resistance, environmental protection, easy cleaning, sound insulation, etc.:‌
(1) Antistatic properties
Cleanroom wall panels are usually made of PVC or PP materials, which have good conductivity and can effectively avoid the generation of static electricity and prevent the deposition of dust and microorganisms.This feature makes the wall panels particularly suitable for environments that require high cleanliness, such as medical, biopharmaceuticals and precision electronics.
(2) Corrosion resistance
The surface protective layer of the cleanroom wall panels has an anti-corrosion effect and can resist erosion by chemicals such as acids and alkalis. For example, the medical clean panel uses asbestos-free calcium silicate panel as the substrate, with a UV paint coating on the surface. It has good resistance to acid and alkali erosion and can resist erosion by organic solvents, disinfectants and other substances.
