Why does the auto repair industry need cleanrooms?
Modern cars are becoming increasingly electronic and sophisticated, and several key processes must be completed in a clean environment to ensure reliability, safety, and consistent quality.
Main reasons:
Automotive electronics assembly: Sensors and ECUs are sensitive to dust and static electricity, necessitating a dust-proof and anti-static cleanroom.
Spray painting: Paint surfaces are dust-sensitive, requiring a constant temperature and humidity, dust-free environment.
New energy battery systems: Require dustproof, anti-static, and low humidity (to prevent battery short circuits and failure).
Precision parts assembly: Prevent dust particles from affecting accuracy and lifespan.
In summary: Auto repair cleanrooms are designed to prevent dust, static electricity, and humidity, ensuring the stable performance of electronic and precision components.

Project name: Slovenia Removable Wall Auto Repair Modular Clean Room
Equipment area: 17.5㎡
Equipment internal height: 2.55m
Equipment cleanliness: ISO 7(Class 10,000)
Industry: Auto Repair
Project country: Slovenia
Project features:
1.Light Series-bright and stylish design
The cleanroom is made of aluminum alloy frames and anti-static transparent acrylic panels, clear, and bright with high visual ability, lightweight and easy to install, well accepted by customer.

2.Customized design for flexible space:
The clean room is divided into two parts by using a removable wall and a auto sliding door. When the production space needs to be expanded, this wall can be removed independently to merge the two rooms into one big room.
3.Personnel & Material Clean Entry:
Equipped with Air Shower and Air Shower Pass Box to remove surface dust attached to personnel and materials, minimizing contamination.

4.Pre-Installed Power Outlets:
Multiple power outlets are installed inside the cleanroom to support equipment used in daily processes. The layout is precisely designed to be clean, safe, and practical for production.
5.Excellent performance, up to standard:
All parameters have passed the tests, successfully delivered and accepted.

Do cleanrooms in the auto repair industry require anti-static cleanrooms?
Whether an anti-static cleanroom is necessary in the auto repair or auto parts manufacturing industry depends primarily on the specific process and product type.
1. For general auto repair shops (maintenance and repair activities), such as oil changes, sheet metal painting, and complete vehicle repairs, anti-static cleanrooms are generally not required.
The primary focus is dust, oil mist, and odor control, not static electricity.
Cleanliness requirements are typically low (ISO 8 or lower).
2. For assembling automotive electronics or precision components, such as ECUs (engine control units), sensors, battery modules, onboard chips, camera modules, and lidar, you need an anti-static cleanroom (ESD).
Reason:
Electronic components are extremely susceptible to damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD);
The assembly environment must control static electricity buildup;
It also needs to be dust-proof to prevent particles from affecting welding or optical performance.
3.For new energy vehicle battery or power system production, such as lithium battery module and pack assembly, in addition to dust and static protection, an ultra-low dew point and low humidity cleanroom is also required.
This cleanroom also features:
ESD protection;
Constant temperature and humidity;
Dry air circulation system.
