To support the growing demand for high-quality cosmetic manufacturing, Airkey designed and delivered an ISO Class 8 modular cleanroom for a cosmetics production facility in Spain. The project features the Castle Series modular cleanroom, providing a controlled production environment through factory-prefabricated construction, positive pressure control, and efficient airflow management.

The cleanroom adopts Airkey's self-supporting aluminum frame system, allowing the entire structure to stand independently without relying on the existing building. This design enables faster installation while providing excellent structural stability.
Large 50 mm double-tempered glass windows introduce natural light into the production area while offering sound insulation, thermal insulation, and anti-fog performance. The transparent design also improves production visibility and daily supervision.
The cleanroom is equipped with an integrated control panel that manages LED lighting and three-stage FFU airflow adjustment. A built-in pressure gauge continuously monitors room pressure to maintain positive pressure and reduce the risk of external contamination.
Slim-profile LED strip lighting is combined with evenly distributed diffuser plates to provide comfortable illumination while ensuring balanced airflow throughout the cleanroom, helping maintain stable pressure differentials and consistent cleanliness.

The completed modular cleanroom provides a stable ISO Class 8 manufacturing environment for cosmetics production in Spain. Through modular construction and intelligent environmental control, the customer achieved faster deployment, reliable contamination control, and a production space that is easy to maintain and expand.
Why is ISO Class 8 suitable for cosmetics manufacturing?
ISO Class 8 provides effective airborne particle control for many cosmetic production, filling, and packaging processes while balancing construction and operating costs.
What are the benefits of a self-supporting modular cleanroom?
A self-supporting structure eliminates the need for additional building support, shortens installation time, and allows future relocation or expansion.
Can the control system monitor cleanroom pressure?
Yes. The integrated control panel includes a pressure gauge to help maintain positive pressure inside the cleanroom.
