Airkey successfully supplied an ISO8 modular cleanroom for the Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria. Designed specifically for electronics laboratory applications, this compact cleanroom provides a controlled environment for teaching, research, and precision electronic experiments.
The project covers an equipment area of 7㎡ with an internal height of 2.2 meters. Built with Airkey's Light Series modular cleanroom system, the solution combines fast installation, reliable cleanliness performance, and flexible modular construction. The self-supporting structure eliminates the need for ceiling suspension or major building modifications, allowing the cleanroom to be installed directly on the existing floor while reducing construction time and costs.
One of the key advantages of this project is its highly transparent acrylic wall system. The clear panels provide excellent visibility for laboratory observation and teaching activities while maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The high-strength aluminum alloy frame features a screwless dust-proof design and corrosion-resistant surface treatment, ensuring long-term durability, easy maintenance, and excellent cleanliness performance.
To further protect the controlled environment, the cleanroom entrance is equipped with an air shower that effectively removes particles from personnel before entering the clean area. Integrated power outlets inside the cleanroom provide convenient support for laboratory instruments, electronic testing equipment, and microelectronics research applications.
Before shipment, every performance parameter was fully tested and verified at the factory, including airflow, filtration efficiency, and ISO8 cleanliness level. The modular cleanroom arrived ready for rapid installation and immediately met the customer's operational requirements.
